We have the Mens 50s and 35s playing home games at Edinburgh Reserve this weekend at 12.45pm and 2.45pm and we need players for both, plus timekeepers and goal umpires for both games. If we don’t supply timekeepers and goal umpires for home games, the team managers (I’m one of them) could go to Masters jail, so please help!

Congrats to former Warriors player and coach Disco for 150 games

Join us this Sunday at 12:45 as a Warrior Legend returns to celebrate his 150 game milestone at Edinburgh reserve. His footy achievements speak for themselves, but most of all Disco is one of those “top blokes” that you want at your club.

Disco started his Supers/Masters career at Mooroolbark and soon after joined Eastern Districts. This team went on to become the Waverley Warriors (now Eastern Warriors).

He has Coached, Captained and won the reserves BnF. Having competed in multiple marathons Disco was always a star runner on the wings.

Some of his fondest memories at Warriorland are the footy trips to Lonny and Echuca. Lonny stands out for Porky’s WWE move on a bloke in a Banna suit and living up to his nickname by taking out 2 dance comps. His highlight on the Echuca footy trip was playing against the local side hung over while having to listen to Pinga commentate! But most of all he enjoyed the mateship. Meeting people who remain his great friends today.
